Regular Season Round 7: Pyrinto - ViVe 72-67

An interesting game for Tampereen Pyrinto (5-1) which hosted in Tampere 4th placed Vimpelin Veto (3-3). Third ranked Tampereen Pyrinto managed to get a 5-point victory 72-67. Worth to mention a great performance of Stephanie McBride who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds. Janiya Foskey contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Sahara Jones answered with a double-double by scoring 29 points and 12 rebounds (made all of her eight free throws) and Jeanae Terry added 12 points, 8 rebounds, 10 assists and 5 steals in the effort for ViVe. Tampereen Pyrinto have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to second place. ViVe at the other side keeps the fourth position with three games lost. Pyrinto are looking forward to face Honka (#6) in Espoo in the next round. ViVe will play at home against ToPo and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
