Very predictable result when second rankedTampereen Pyrinto (7-1) smashed at home bottom-ranked ToPo (1-7) 79-57 on Saturday. Pyrinto shot 23 for 31 from the free-throw line, while ToPo only scored six points from the stripe. Pyrinto had a 31-19 advantage in offensive rebounds. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Pyrinto made 8 blocks. The best player for the winners was Stephanie McBride who had a double-double by scoring 18 points, 17 rebounds and 4 blocks. Annika Aarrejoki chipped in 23 points and 6 rebounds. Four Tampereen Pyrinto players scored in double figures.
