Regular Season Round 8: ViVe - ToPo 79-61

Very expected game when 9th ranked ToPo (1-7) was defeated on the road by fourth ranked Vimpelin Veto (4-3) 79-61 on Saturday. ViVe forced 22 ToPo turnovers. The best player for the winners was Sahara Jones who scored 28 points and 7 rebounds. Jeanae Terry chipped in a double-double by scoring 10 points, 13 rebounds and 9 assists. Four Vimpelin Veto players scored in double figures. Canadian guard Sarah Gates (177-1999) produced 17 points and 5 rebounds and Lotta Vesiluoma added 9 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests. ToPo's coach rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. ViVe maintains fourth position with 4-3 record. ToPo lost third consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with seven games lost. ViVe will meet HBA-Marsky (#5) in the next round. ToPo will play against Honka (#6) and hope to win that game.
