There was no surprise when 7th rankedNokia (3-10) was defeated on the road by second ranked Vimpelin Veto (11-3) 86-77 . BC Nokia was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for American swingman Sara Puckett (188-2002, college: Tennessee) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 32 points and 14 rebounds. Jeanae Terry contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Four Vimpelin Veto players scored in double figures. American forward Laila Lawrence (188-2003, college: Coppin St.) answered with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds and Australian swingman Tess Barnes (188-2002, college: Wyoming) added 13 points in the effort for BC Nokia. Nokia's coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Vimpelin Veto have an impressive series of eight victories in a row. ViVe maintains second place with 11-3 record having just one point less than leader PeKa, which they share with Pyrinto. BC Nokia at the other side dropped to the sixth position with ten games lost. They share it with ToPo and Honka.
