An interesting game forPeli-Karhut (14-3) which played road game in Tampere against 3rd placed Tampereen Pyrinto (13-5). First ranked Peli-Karhut had an easy win 84-47 . PeKa dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Tampereen Pyrinto 's 24. PeKa players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Pyrinto 's players. It was a great evening for American guard Lauren Heard (175-1999, college: TCU) who led her team to a victory scoring 16 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. The former international forward Lotta Vehka-Aho (170-2000, college: FAU) helped adding 21 points and 5 assists. Peli-Karhut's coach felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side American center Stephanie McBride (185, college: Bridgeport) responded with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds and the other American import forward Janiya Foskey (184, college: Catawba) scored 14 points and 6 rebounds. Defending champion maintains first place with 14-3 record, which they share with ViVe. Pyrinto at the other side keeps the third position with five games lost.
