Rather predictable result when third rankedTampereen Pyrinto (14-5) defeated at home 5th ranked Marsky Helsinki (9-9) 70-63 . Pyrinto players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. The winners were led by American center Stephanie McBride (185, college: Bridgeport) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 19 points and 14 rebounds and forward Annika Aarrejoki (180-2004) supported her with 20 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Even 13 points and 6 rebounds by the former international guard Jessi Nenonen (178-2008) did not help to save the game for HBA-Marsky . The former international forward Anna Gardziella (186-2008) added 9 points and 7 rebounds for the guests. Marsky Helsinki's coach rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help.
