The game in Nokia was also quite interesting. Second rankedVimpelin Veto (17-5) played at the court of 6th ranked Nokia (7-14). Vimpelin Veto managed to secure a 6-point victory 74-68 on Saturday. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Nokia. ViVe outrebounded BC Nokia 43-30 including a 35-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of American swingman Sara Puckett (188-2002, college: Tennessee) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 14 rebounds and the other American import point guard Jeanae Terry (155-2001, college: Purdue) who added 10 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists during the contest. Four Vimpelin Veto players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American forward Laila Lawrence (188-2003, college: Coppin St.) with 21 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Tuulia Timo (178-1997) scored 23 points and 5 rebounds. Vimpelin Veto have a solid three-game winning streak. ViVe used an opportunity after PeKa lost their game and moved up joining them at the top position. Loser Nokia keeps the sixth place with 14 games lost.
