The game had a very big importance for second-rankedVimpelin Veto as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Vimpelin Veto defeated 5th ranked Marsky Helsinki at home 93-85 . ViVe made 19-of-22 free shots (86.4 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American swingman Sara Puckett (188-2002, college: Tennessee) who helped to win the game recording 34 points (!!!), 9 rebounds and 4 blocks. Her fellow American import point guard Jeanae Terry (155-2001, college: Purdue) contributed with 26 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists for the winners. The former international forward Anna Gardziella (186-2008) answered with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international guard Jessi Nenonen (178-2008) added 14 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for HBA-Marsky. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Marsky Helsinki's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Vimpelin Veto have a solid series of four victories in a row. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. HBA-Marsky at the other side keeps the fifth place with 11 games lost.
