Kipina made 23-of-25 charity shots (92.0 percent) during the game, while ToPo only scored seven points from the stripe. ToPo was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. American guard Jalen McCoy (196-2002, college: USC Aiken, agency: Origins Sports Group) nailed 25 points and 9 rebounds (made all of his eight free throws) for the winning side and his fellow American import guard Joe Cookson (198, college: Pomona-Pitzer) accounted for 16 points and 8 rebounds. Four Kipina players scored in double figures. point guard Markus Rautasalo (180-2000) came up with 21 points and 8 assists and forward Alvar Michelsen (197) added 15 points and 6 rebounds respectively for ToPo in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
