Vimpelin Veto dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Nokia's 30 and made 22-of-26 free shots (84.6 percent) during the game. It was a quality performance for American swingman Sara Puckett (188-2002, college: Tennessee) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 37 points (!!!) and 12 rebounds. Her fellow American import guard Sahara Jones (183-2002, college: Texas A&M) accounted for 20 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side. Jones is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. American forward Laila Lawrence (188-2003, college: Coppin St.) came up with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds and forward Tuulia Timo (178-1997) added 17 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Nokia in the defeat. Nokia's coach let to play eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game.
