Vilpas made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. Vilpas outrebounded Korihait 43-25 including 18 on the offensive glass. International guard Samu Adler (198-2007) orchestrated the victory by scoring 29 points. American guard Jack Forrest (196-2000, college: Bucknell, agency: Octagon Europe) contributed with 22 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Vilpas' coach Jussi Savolainen used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
