Regular Season Round 10: Gravelines - Paris-Levallois 71-59

Very expected game when 14th ranked Paris-Levallois (3-7) was defeated on the road by second ranked Gravelines-Dunkerque (8-2) 71-59. The game was mostly controlled by Gravelines-Dunkerque. Paris-Levallois was better in third quarter 25-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a great performance of American Marcus Dove (206-85, college: Oklahoma St.) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 7 rebounds. International swingman Pape Sy (201-88) contributed with 13 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Four Gravelines-Dunkerque players scored in double figures. American point guard Chris Jones (178-91, college: Louisville) replied with 20 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and his fellow American import power forward Eric Dawson (206-84, college: Midwestern St., agency: Haylett Sports) added 20 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Paris-Levallois. Paris-Levallois' coach Antoine Rigaudeau tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Gravelines-Dunkerque have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 8-2 record having just -1 point less than leader ASVEL. Paris-Levallois at the other side keeps the fourteenth place with seven games lost. Gravelines-Dunkerque's next round opponent will be Strasbourg IG (#10) on the road and are hoping to win another game. Paris-Levallois will play against JDA Dijon (#5) and hope to win that game.
