Boulazac defeated Evreux in the semifinal series opener. The guests trailed by 3 points after three quarters before their 25-16 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Boulazac Basket looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The game was dominated by American players. Power forward Franklin Hassell (203-88, college: ODU, agency: Inception Sports) fired 21 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. David Jackson (195-86, college: W.Illinois) chipped in 16 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Boulazac Basket's coach Antoine Michon used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Joe Burton (201-90, college: Oregon St.) produced a double-double by scoring 31 points and 11 rebounds and swingman Drake Reed (194-87, college: Austin Peay St., agency: Inception Sports) added 23 points and 9 rebounds respectively for lost side. Five Boulazac Basket and four ALM Evreux players scored in double figures.
