No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked JL Bourg (6-4) smashed at home 15th ranked Saint Chamond (3-7) 97-70 on Friday. Saint Chamond trailed 46-44 at halftime, rallying from a 25-11 deficit at the end of first quarter to trim the gap. JL Bourg made 26-of-33 free shots (78.8 percent) during the game, while Saint Chamond only scored nine points from the stripe. JL Bourg forced 19 Saint Chamond turnovers. Saint Chamond was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Senegalese center Youssou Ndoye (213-91, college: St.Bonaventure) fired a double-double by scoring 23 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. American point guard Garrett Sim (188-90, college: Oregon) chipped in 17 points and 7 assists. Four JL Bourg players scored in double figures. Jonathan Hoyaux (195-88) produced 16 points and 5 rebounds and Lithuanian point guard Eigirdas Zukauskas (203-92) added 11 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. JL Bourg moved-up to third place, which they share with 4 other teams. Loser Saint Chamond keeps the fifteenth position with seven games lost.
