Regular Season Round 34: Lourdes - CFBB 82-61

Bottom-ranked CFBB (0-34) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 82-61 loss to eighth ranked Lourdes-Tarbes (19-15) in Tarbes. They dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to CFBB's 34. Lourdes-Tarbes forced 25 CFBB turnovers. They brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward RJ Sims (196, college: E.Mennonite) who helped to win the game recording 13 points and 6 rebounds. Adrien Thimon (188-94) contributed with 13 points and 6 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) for the winners. Four Lourdes-Tarbes players scored in double figures. Guard Theo Maledon (192-0) replied with 20 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and point guard Joel Ayayi (193-0) added 11 points and 4 assists in the effort for CFBB. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Lourdes-Tarbes moved-up to fifth place, which they share with 3 other teams. CFBB at the other side still closes the standings.
