There was a small surprise when fourteenth ranked Lourdes-Tarbes (4-6) beat at home 11th ranked SO Maritime Boulogne (4-6) 77-66 on Saturday. Lourdes-Tarbes made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 SO Maritime Boulogne turnovers. SO Maritime Boulogne was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a very good performance for Vincentian-Canadian forward Lien Phillip (203-89) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 26 points and 11 rebounds. American guard Greg Pryor (188-95, college: Chattanooga, agency: Court Side) contributed with 9 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. American-British guard Warren Niles (196-89, college: ORU, agency: Inception Sports) replied with 17 points and Hugo Dumortier (195-93) added 7 points and 4 assists in the effort for SO Maritime Boulogne. SO Maritime Boulogne's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game.
