The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Entente Orleans 45 (19-5) at the home court on Tuesday night. Hosts were edged by seventh ranked Sluc Nancy (15-9) 94-91. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Entente Orleans 45. The guests trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 29-22 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. Sluc Nancy shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 59.1 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Canadian-Jamaican swingman Jevohn Shepherd (196-86, college: Michigan) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and power forward Mickael Var (205-90) who added 14 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was American forward Marcellus Sommerville (200-82, college: Bradley, agency: Inception Sports) with 14 points and 5 assists and his fellow American import point guard Kyle McAlarney (183-87, college: Notre Dame) scored 17 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Sluc Nancy have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain seventh position with 15-9 record. Entente Orleans 45 at the other side still keeps top place with five games lost. They share the position with Blois. Sluc Nancy are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Quimper UJAP (#18) at home in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Entente Orleans 45 will play against Lille Metropole (#5) and is hoping to win this game.
