There was a small surprise when fourth rankedMulhouse (5-3) defeated on the road their close opponent Loon-Plage (4-3) 83-68 on Friday. Mulhouse made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. Mulhouse outrebounded Loon-Plage 43-29 including 29 on the defensive glass. Power forward Vladimir Ilic (203-1999) fired a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws) for the winners. American guard Jordan Robertson (190-1996, college: Colgate) produced 17 points and 4 assists and point guard Hugo Desseignet (175-2003) added 11 points and 8 assists respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Mulhouse maintains fourth place with 5-3 record. Loser Loon-Plage dropped to the third position with three games lost.
