Regular Season Round 7: Mulhouse - Orchies 89-71

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-rankedOrchesien BC (6-2) on the court of fourth ranked Mulhouse on Wednesday night. Visitors were defeated by Mulhouse 89-71 . It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Orchesien BC. Mulhouse outrebounded Orchies 48-22 including a 21-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great evening for American guard Trevon Faulkner (193-2000, college: NKU) who led his team to a victory scoring 18 points and 6 rebounds. Guard Fabio Milanese (192-2003) helped adding 14 points and 4 assists. Mulhouse's coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side Belgian Igor Mintogo (193-1999) responded with 14 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and American power forward Joe Burton (202-1990, college: Oregon St.) scored 11 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Mulhouse and five Orchies players scored in double figures. Mulhouse maintains fourth place with 5-3 record. Orchies at the other side still keeps top position with two games lost.
