Regular Season Round 8: Saint Vallier - Berck 96-81

There was a minor upset when 8th rankedBerck (4-4) was defeated on the road by tenth ranked Saint Vallier (4-4) 96-81 on Saturday. Saint Vallier shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 52.2 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. The best player for the winners was American point guard Jazzmarr Ferguson (185-1989, college: IU Southeast) who scored 23 points and 8 assists. Ugandan-American Deng Geu (203-1997, college: N.Texas) chipped in 26 points. Four Saint Vallier players scored in double figures. Point guard Louis Weber (186-1998) produced 12 points and 7 assists and naturalized Ivorian point guard Maxence Dadiet (192-1999) added 16 points and 4 assists respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Saint Vallier moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 4 other teams including defeated Berck .
