There was a minor upset when 11th rankedBesancon (3-7) lost on the road to thirteenth ranked Metz (3-6) 72-61 on Friday. American forward Amir Smith (200-1997, college: Hampton) notched 11 points and 8 rebounds to lead the effort and point guard Etienne Ory (183-1996) supported him with 8 points and 8 assists. Even a double-double of 23 points and 10 rebounds by forward Calvin Jubenot (198-1986) did not help to save the game for Besancon . Forward Ange Djedje (202-2003) added 10 points and 8 rebounds for lost side. Metz moved-up to twelfth place which they share with defeated Besancon . Besancon lost sixth consecutive game. They dropped to the twelfth position with seven games lost. They share it with Poissy and Angers.
