The game between closely ranked teams ended with tenth rankedCholet 's (4-2) road victory over 11th ranked ASVEL (3-4) in Villeurbanne 88-82 on Saturday. Cholet looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was an exceptional evening for point guard Robin Pluvy (180-2006) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 assists. Forward Gabin Lefort (202-2006) accounted for 24 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side. Four Cholet players scored in double figures. DR Congolese power forward Paul Mbiya (211-2005) came up with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!) and guard Theo Guedegbe (191-2007) added 21 points and 4 assists respectively for ASVEL in the defeat. ASVEL's coach Mike Happio let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Cholet moved-up to third place, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser ASVEL keeps the eleventh position with four games lost. They share it with Nancy.
