There was a minor upset when higher rankedTours (7-6) lost at home to ninth ranked Vendee Challans (7-6) 88-71 on Friday. Serbian-Montenegrin power forward Luka Nikolic (209-1994) nailed 23 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side and American guard Randy Haynes (193-1995, college: ODU, agency: SLN) accounted for 22 points. Seychellois center Abdel Kader Sylla (204-1990) came up with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds and swingman Pierre-Etienne Drouault (196-1990) added 10 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Tours in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Challans moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Tours and Fougeres.
