Regular Season Round 13: Angers - Roche 82-70

Very predictable result when fifth ranked Angers (8-5) defeated at home 11th ranked Roche (3-10) 82-70 on Sunday. American forward Joy Adams (180-1993, college: Iona) fired a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Her fellow American import guard Ameryst Alston (175-1993, college: Ohio St.) chipped in 21 points and 5 steals. American guard Brooke McCarty-Williams (163-1995, college: Texas) produced 21 points and 5 assists and the former international center Aby Gaye (195-1995) added 12 points and 9 rebounds respectively for lost side. Angers moved-up to fourth place, which they share with BLMA. Loser Roche keeps the eleventh position with ten games lost. Angers will meet Villeneuve (#9) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Roche will play against the league's second-placed Charleville-M. and hope to secure a win.
