Regular Season Round 20: Vitre - Angers 74-61

Everything went according to plan when sixth ranked Vitre (11-9) beat at home 12th ranked Etoile Angers (7-13) 74-61 on Friday. Vitre forced 20 Angers turnovers. The best player for the winners was point guard Armand Mensah (179-1999) who scored 14 points and 7 assists. David Gassaud (201-2001) chipped in 7 points and 9 rebounds. Lucas Veraghe (197-2001) produced 25 points and 5 rebounds and American point guard Jacoby Ross (178-1997, college: Lindenwood) added 19 points respectively for the guests. Vitre maintains sixth position with 11-9 record, which they share with Saint Vallier. Loser Etoile Angers keeps the twelfth place with 13 games lost. They share the position with Charleville. Vitre will meet league's second-placed Challans on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
