Very expected game when 14th rankedPoissy (4-17) was defeated at home by fifth ranked Lourdes-Tarbes (13-8) 103-98 on Friday. Tarbes-Lourdes shot the lights out from three sinking 15 long-distance shots on high 51.7 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists. Naturalized Guyanese Mike Joseph (203-1994) stepped up and scored 27 points and 6 rebounds (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) for the winners and point guard Marius Chambre (182-1998) chipped in 15 points and 8 assists. Lourdes-Tarbes' coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. The best for the losing side was Lithuanian guard Kevin Cham (185-1998) with 18 points, 7 assists and 5 steals and Angolan center Valdelicio Joaquim (208-1990, college: Hawaii) scored 19 points. Four Tarbes-Lourdes and five Poissy players scored in double figures. Tarbes-Lourdes moved-up to third place, which they share with Levallois and Tours. Poissy lost sixth consecutive game. They dropped to the thirteenth position with 17 games lost. They share it with Pole France.
