Regular Season Round 14: Tarbes - Bourges 59-60

Eighth-ranked Tarbes (6-8) made lots of trouble for first ranked Bourges (12-2) on Saturday. The visitors from Bourges managed to secure only one-point victory 60-59. However their fans expected much easier game. The best player for the winners was Ivorian center Kariata Diaby (193-1995) who scored 9 points and 9 rebounds. American-Nigerian power forward Amy Okonkwo (188-1996, college: TCU) chipped in 9 points and 5 rebounds. Nigerian center Murjanatu Musa (188-2000) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds and the former international center Jess-Mine Zodia (190-2004) added 13 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Bourges have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 12-2 record. Tarbes lost third consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with eight games lost. Bourges are looking forward to face Roche (#11) in La Roche in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Tarbes will play on the road against Charnay in Charnay-les-Macon and is hoping to prove to their fans that they can break losing series.
