Not a big story in a game when 13th rankedJSF Nanterre (6-12) was defeated at home by second ranked Paris Basket (14-4) 92-78 on Saturday. Paris looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American-North Macedonian point guard TJ Shorts (175-1997, college: UC Davis) had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Chilean-German Sebastian Herrera (193-1997) chipped in 16 points during the contest. Shorts is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. The best for the losing side was American forward Justin Tillman (203-1996, college: VCU) with 19 points and 8 rebounds and U.S. Virgin Islands Desi Rodriguez (197-1996, college: Seton Hall) scored 17 points. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Paris Basket have an impressive five-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Cholet and Monaco. Nanterre lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the thirteenth place with 12 games lost. They share the position with Limoges. Paris will meet at home ASVEL (#4) in the next round. Nanterre will play against Dijon (#8) and hope to secure a win.
