Very predictable result when fourth rankedASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket (15-6) beat on the road 10th ranked JSF Nanterre (8-13) 88-74 on Sunday. American-Cameroonian point guard Paris Lee (184-1995, college: Illinois St.) stepped up and scored 13 points and 7 assists for the winners and American Shaquille Harrison (193-1993, college: Tulsa) chipped in 11 points and 6 rebounds. The best for the losing side was the former international point guard Benjamin Sene (188-1994) with 18 points and the former international Paul Lacombe (196-1990) scored 13 points and 5 assists. Five ASVEL and four Nanterre players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. ASVEL moved-up to third place, which they share with Paris. Loser JSF Nanterre dropped to the eleventh position with 13 games lost. They share it with Limoges and Strasbourg. ASVEL will meet league's leader Monaco on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Nanterre will play against Saint Quentin (#7) in Saint-Quentin and hope to secure a win.
