Seventh-rankedBerck (9-9) made lots of trouble for first ranked Fougeres (13-5) on Friday. Fougeres managed to secure only one-point victory 81-80 . However their fans expected much easier game. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Berck. It was a great evening for swingman Kevin Bichard (196-1986) who led his team to a victory scoring 22 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Point guard Maxime Choplin (180-1992) helped adding 20 points and 5 assists. Four Fougeres players scored in double figures. At the losing side Cuban power forward Grismay Paumier (204-1988) responded with 26 points and 9 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) and naturalized Ivorian point guard Maxence Dadiet (192-1999) scored 12 points and 7 assists. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Fougeres have a solid series of three victories in a row. Newly promoted Fougeres maintains first place with 13-5 record. Loser Berck dropped to the eighth position with nine games lost. They share it with Charleville.
