There was no surprise when 11th rankedPoissy (10-25) was defeated at home by fourth ranked Besancon (17-18) 98-85 on Friday. Besancon made 26-of-31 free shots (83.9 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was forward Calvin Jubenot (198-1986) who scored 26 points and 8 rebounds. Luxembourg forward Ben Kovac (196-2000) chipped in 16 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Five Besancon players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Sebastien Michineau (182-1991, college: S.Idaho JC) who recorded 15 points and 6 assists and naturalized Angolan forward Melvyn Da Silva (198-1999) added 16 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Poissy's coach Nicolas Meistelman rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Besancon moved-up to second place, which they share with 4 other teams. Loser Poissy dropped to the twelfth position with 25 games lost.
