Rather expected game when 13th rankedMulhouse (19-16) was defeated on the road by tenth ranked Vendee Challans (25-10) 81-68 on Friday. The best player for the winners was guard Tanguy Touze (190-2000, college: Bethel, IN) who scored 14 points and 5 assists. Serbian-Montenegrin power forward Luka Nikolic (209-1994) chipped in 11 points and 9 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was naturalized Congolese center Valentin Mukuna (207-1993) who recorded 16 points and 6 rebounds and guard Fabio Milanese (192-2003) added 8 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists respectively. Four Mulhouse players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Vendee Challans have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to third place. Loser Mulhouse dropped to the seventh position with 16 games lost. They share it with Levallois and Tours.
