Second Stage Round 10: Berck - Pole France 80-69
Date: April 15, 2025
Not a big story in a game when 13th rankedPole France (8-28) was defeated on the road by seventh ranked Berck (17-19) 80-69 on Tuesday. Power forward Guillaume Valayer (201-1996) had a double-double by scoring 17 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and naturalized Madagascar guard Johan Randriamananjara (199-2000) chipped in 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Four Berck players scored in double figures. At the losing side forward Meissa Faye (198-2007) responded with 25 points and 5 rebounds and Hugo Moukouri (205-2008) scored 22 points. Pole France's coach Francois Peronnet tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Despite that victory Berck went down to eighth position due to points difference. Loser Pole France keeps the thirteenth place with 28 games lost. Berck will meet league's second-placed Angers on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Pole France will play against Avignon/Pontet (#14) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
