There was an upset when higher rankedSaint Chamond (19-17) was crushed on the road by eighteenth ranked ALM Evreux (10-25) 84-59 on Friday. Evreux dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Saint Chamond 's 24. Evreux outrebounded Saint-Chamond 53-27 including a 21-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. Evreux looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was American point guard EJ Day (180-1999, college: Lasell) who scored 15 points and 6 assists. Naturalized Portuguese point guard Anthony Da Silva (185-2001) chipped in 11 points and 9 rebounds. Four ALM Evreux players scored in double figures. American point guard Marquis Jackson (183-1994, college: Ohio Christian) produced 4 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists and power forward Mael Hamon-Crespin (206-2004, college: WSU, agency: Octagon Europe) added 8 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Evreux maintains eighteenth place with 10-25 record. Loser Saint Chamond dropped to the tenth position with 17 games lost. They share it with Vichy.
