Very predictable result when ninth rankedOlympique Antibes (5-3) defeated at home bottom-ranked Vendee Challans (1-8) 99-83 on Friday. Antibes made 21-of-26 free shots (80.8 percent) during the game. Antibes outrebounded Challans 35-24 including 22 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was naturalized Cameroonian guard Samir Bikantchou (191-1998) who scored 21 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. American forward Garlon Green (201-1991, college: TCU, agency: Slash Sports) chipped in 21 points. Olympique Antibes' coach J.D. Jackson used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Mohamad Diop (204-1999) who recorded 10 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Paul Billong (193-2001) added 15 points and 4 assists respectively. Five Antibes and four Challans players scored in double figures. Antibes moved-up to seventh place, which they share with La Rochelle. Challans lost third consecutive game.
