Very expected game when 11th rankedToulouse (1-6) was smashed at home by sixth ranked Charnay (5-3) 90-57 on Saturday. Charnay dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Toulouse 's 28. Charnay forced 24 Toulouse turnovers and outrebounded them 38-22 including a 28-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. Charnay looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. The winners were led by swingman Mariama Daramy (180-2002) who scored that evening 18 points and 5 rebounds and American Shakayla Thomas (182-1996, college: FSU) supported her with 18 points (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field). Four Charnay players scored in double figures. Even 14 points by American-Montenegrin forward Taya Reimer (193-1995, college: Michigan St.) did not help to save the game for Toulouse . point guard Manoe Cisse (161-2004) added 7 points, 7 assists and 4 steals for the hosts. Charnay moved-up to third place, which they share with BLMA and Charleville-M. Toulouse lost sixth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the eleventh position with six games lost.
