Regular Season Round 10: BLMA - Angers 79-76

Important game to mention about took place in Montpellier. Sixth ranked BLMA (6-4) saved a 3-point victory at home edging 8th ranked Angers (4-6) 79-76 on Sunday evening. The former international point guard Romane Bernies (170-1993) contributed with 17 points and 5 assists for the winners. The former international Emmanuelle Tahane (184-1999, college: URI) replied with 23 points and 8 rebounds and American forward Madison Williams (180-1999, college: Oklahoma) added 15 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Angers. BLMA moved-up to third place, which they share with 4 other teams. Angers lost third consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with six games lost. They share it with Lyon. BLMA will play against bottom-ranked Toulouse (#12) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Angers will play against Bourges (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
