Not a big story in a game when 17th rankedCalvados (5-12) was outplayed on the road by thirteenth ranked Poitiers (9-8) 90-65 on Saturday. Poitiers outrebounded Caen 42-28 including 31 on the defensive glass. Center Narcisse Ngoy (215-2004) stepped up and scored 8 points and 12 rebounds for the winners and Bosnian-Croatian Ivan Ramljak (203-1990, agency: PEPI SPORT) chipped in 12 points and 7 rebounds. Four Poitiers players scored in double figures. Poitiers' coach Andy Thornton-Jones felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. American point guard Siyani Chambers (183-1993, college: Harvard) responded with 20 points and 7 assists and Guyanese forward Youri Golitin (202-1997) scored 10 points and 8 rebounds. Poitiers moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Nantes and Hyeres-Toulon. Caen lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the seventeenth position with 12 games lost. They share it with Evreux.
