Regular Season Round 14: PVBC - Nice 55-60

The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked PVBC (11-3) in Voiron on Saturday night. Hosts were defeated by twelfth ranked Nice (5-9) 60-55. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of PVBC. Nice forced 21 PVBC turnovers. Forward Fabienne Constant (188-1986) had a double-double by scoring 14 points and 14 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Pauline Lanfant (175-2002) chipped in 8 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. Daniela Dibanzilua (172-2004) responded with 18 points and 4 assists and swingman Samantha Peytour (177-2002) scored 8 points and 12 rebounds. Nice moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with SIG. PVBC at the other side still keeps top position with three games lost. They share it with Montbrison. Nice is looking forward to face higher ranked Mondeville (#9) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. PVBC will play against Hainaut (#7) in Saint-Amand and is hoping to win this game.
