Rather predictable result in llkirch-Graff where eleventh ranked SIG (6-9) outscored 13th ranked CFBB (3-12) 90-61 on Saturday. SIG forced 19 CFBB turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by CFBB's players. It was a great evening for Cameroonian forward Marguerite Effa (190-1997, college: Nevada) who led her team to a victory scoring 29 points and 9 rebounds. Guard Axelle Mikorek (175-2002) helped adding 13 points, 5 rebounds, 13 assists and 4 steals. Four SIG players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was guard Emma Broliron (167-2008) with 14 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and center Camille Sevaux (187-2009) scored 9 points and 7 rebounds. SIG moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Bihorel. CFBB lost their seventh game in a row. They keep the thirteenth position with 12 games lost. SIG will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. CFBB will play against the league's second-placed La Tronche (#2) where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
