No shocking result in a game when ninth rankedPoitiers (13-10) beat at home 15th ranked Saint Chamond (9-14) 81-69 on Friday. Strangely Saint-Chamond outrebounded Poitiers 47-35 including 34 on the defensive glass. It was an exceptional evening for center Narcisse Ngoy (215-2004) who led the winners and scored 19 points and 9 rebounds. Guard Marcus Gomis (183-2000) accounted for 16 points for the winning side. Center Maxime Yomi (206-2002) came up with 2 points and 19 rebounds and British guard Joshua Uduje (196-2002, college: SJSU) added 18 points (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) respectively for Saint-Chamond in the defeat. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Poitiers moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Saint Chamond keeps the fifteenth position with 14 games lost.
