Regular Season Round 21: Nice - Feytiat 54-56

Twelfth-ranked Nice (8-14) made lots of trouble for fifth ranked Feytiat (13-9) on Saturday. The visitors from Feytiat managed to secure only two-point victory 56-54. However their fans expected much easier game. Feytiat forced 22 Nice turnovers. American forward Rose Micheaux (188, college: Virginia Tech) stepped up and scored 18 points and 5 rebounds for the winners and Moroccan swingman Eiza Louveton (176-2006) chipped in 12 points and 7 rebounds. The best for the losing side was forward Fabienne Constant (188-1986) with 21 points and 9 rebounds and Emma Villas-Gomis (190-1998, college: N.Texas) scored 9 points and 11 rebounds. Feytiat have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain fifth place with 13-9 record, which they share with Champagne. Loser Nice dropped to the eleventh position with 14 games lost. They share it with SIG. Feytiat will meet at home Mondeville (#8) in the next round. Nice will play against Hainaut and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
