Dinamo Tbilisi fired past Kutaisi to even the championship series. The game without a history. Dinamo Tbilisi led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 21-of-27 free shots (77.8 percent) during the game. Dinamo Tbilisi outrebounded Kutaisi 55-36 including a 40-25 advantage in defensive rebounds. 25 personal fouls committed by Kutaisi helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The former international Mikheil Berishvili (204-87) scored 20 points and 9 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Serbian swingman Maksim Kovacevic (196-87, agency: SPORTlab Agency) chipped in 16 points and 12 rebounds during the contest. Guard Levan Tsekvava (190-89) responded with 13 points and 7 rebounds and the former international center Richard Matiashvili (207-89) scored 10 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
