Regular Season Round 13: Kutaisi - Mgzavrebi 85-60

Bottom-ranked Mgzavrebi (0-12) is still winless. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. This time they lost on the road their 12th consecutive match to second ranked Kutaisi (10-1) 85-60 on Friday evening. The game without a history. Kutaisi led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Kutaisi forced 22 Mgzavrebi turnovers and outrebounded them 47-36 including 19 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Kutaisi made 7 blocks. The former international Beka Bekauri (207-91) fired 14 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 blocks for the winners. Serbian center Dragan Tubak (216-87, agency: HMS) chipped in 15 points and 9 rebounds. Four Kutaisi players scored in double figures. Kutaisi's coach felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
