Kutaisi upset Rustavi on the road to level things up at 2-2. The game was mostly controlled by Kutaisi. Energy Invest was better in third quarter 19-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Kutaisi dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Energy Invest's 22. They outrebounded Energy Invest 43-26 including 29 on the defensive glass. Energy Invest was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard DeJuan Wright (190-88, college: FIU) who helped to win the game recording 23 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. The former international Akaki Dvalishvili (207-91) contributed with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Guard Levan Tsekvava (190-89) replied with 20 points and American point guard Adam Blazek (185-92, college: Gannon) added 12 points and 5 assists in the effort for Energy Invest.
