Regular Season Round 17: Overtime - Hyundai 45-114

Very expected game in Tbilisi where bottom-ranked Overtime (0-13) was rolled over by second ranked Hyundai (11-2) 114-45 on Wednesday. The game without a history. Hyundai led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 80 of its points in the paint compared to Overtime's 34. Hyundai forced 19 Overtime turnovers and outrebounded them 48-27 including a 37-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Hyundai looked well-organized offensively handing out 35 assists comparing to just 5 passes made by Overtime's players. Worth to mention a great performance of Saba Khonelidze (-2007) who helped to win the game recording 26 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and Ioane Tvalabeishvili (190-2007) who added 31 points and 6 rebounds (on 14-of-18 shooting from the field) during the contest. Four Hyundai players scored in double figures. At the losing side Zurab Nozadze (175-2008) responded with 13 points and Levan Jamalashvili (192-2008) scored 8 points. Overtime's coach Giorgi Razmadze gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Hyundai maintains second position with 11-2 record having just three points less than leader Zaza Pachulia. Loser Overtime still closes the standings with 13 games lost.
