Regular Season Round 29: Brooklyn - Basco 81-63

There was a small surprise when eleventh ranked Brooklyn (7-14) beat 9th ranked Basco (7-15) in Tbilisi 81-63 on Sunday. Brooklyn forced 32 Basco turnovers. Guard Andria Kldiashvili (184-2006) nailed 19 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals for the winning side and guard Sandro Gelashvili (175-2007) accounted for 23 points and 6 steals. Four Brooklyn players scored in double figures. Brooklyn's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Saba Khimshiashvili (-2007) came up with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 20 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Saba Surmanidze (-2007) added 27 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals respectively for Basco in the defeat. The victory was the third consecutive win for Brooklyn. They moved-up to tenth place. Basco lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the eleventh position with 15 games lost.
