Quarter-Finals Round 4: RASHI - TSU 76-102

Date: May 1, 2025
The game without a history. TSU led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to RASHI's 26. It was a great shooting night for TSU especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.9 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Davontrey Thomas (196, college: New Haven) who helped to win the game recording 18 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). The former international point guard George Tsintsadze (194-1986) contributed with 15 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Five TSU players scored in double figures. TSU's coach Lekso Lapanashvili felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The former international guard Nodar Gogodze (192-1994) replied with 13 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and guard Luka Lursmanashvili (186-2004) added 20 points in the effort for RASHI.
