Semi-Finals Game 1: TSU - Delta 89-66

Date: May 7, 2025
The game was mostly controlled by TSU. Delta managed to win second period 18-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. TSU dominated on the defensive end, holding Delta to just 7 points in first quarter. They outrebounded Delta 41-26 including a 34-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. TSU looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American forward Davontrey Thomas (196, college: New Haven) fired 19 points for the winners. The former international forward Aleksandre Phevadze (207-1998) chipped in a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds. American guard Skyelar Potter (190, college: Jax State) produced 16 points and 7 rebounds and center Valerian Tsuleiskiri (202-1999) added 14 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. Five TSU and four Delta players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
