Finals Game 1: Kutaisi - TSU 69-89

Date: May 20, 2025
The game was mostly controlled by TSU. Kutaisi managed to win third quarter 19-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American forward Davontrey Thomas (196, college: New Haven) fired 22 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. The former international point guard George Tsintsadze (194-1986) chipped in 19 points and 5 assists. The former international power forward Giorgi Korsantia (207-1998, agency: BIG) produced a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds and the former international Akaki Dvalishvili (207-1991) added 16 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side. Five TSU and four Kutaisi players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
